Writers & Authors on Fire Podcasts

Podcasts are a unique medium for learning because you can listen to them while you are multi-tasking; while you are mobile on the go while exercising, in line at the bank or waiting at the doctor’s office – whatever you are doing; they are on-demand meaning you can listen to whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you are; and they are free. And when you subscribe to a podcast, you’ll receive new epsiodes as soon as they are released.

How to Listen to the Podcasts

  • Listen on this website – Click to the podcast episode you would like to listen to and click the play button within the post. On that page is the show notes for the particular show with interview highlights, book links, and more.
  • Listen on your smart phone or mobile device – There are a lot of great podcasting apps. Apple has a free one in the app store, and there’s also Overcast, Downcast and Stitcher Radio. Many of them allow you to search for shows, subscribe to them and even speed up the audio. Let us know your favorite!
  • Listen at different speeds – Most podcast hosts, like iTunes and Stitcher radio offer listeners the opportunity to listen at a variety of speeds. For example, at 1 1/2 speed, a 60 minute show can be listened to in 40 minutes – and you’ll still catch every word. Check the screen on your device for your speed options.
  • Subscribe to the podcast – You can always access the podcast in iTunes or Stitcher or you can search for Writers & Authors on Fire on your smartphone’s podcast app. And if you have missed past episodes, you can also listen via iTunes or Stitcher after
  • you’ve subscribed. For more information about listening to the shows, where to find them online, the apps to use, subscribing to the podcast, and leaving ratings and reviews, check out the Listening to the Podcasts page.
